2. Services we offer
Summit Talent provides AI-assisted and human-reviewed career support services, including:
- **AI CV rewrite and human review.** You provide your existing CV and, where possible, a target role or career goal. We use structured AI tools to create a first-pass review and rewrite, which is then reviewed by a human before delivery.
- **Cover letter and career narrative support.** We may help improve cover letters, application wording, personal statements, career summaries and related career materials.
- **1:1 career and interview coaching.** We provide individual coaching covering career direction, job-search strategy, interview preparation, career narrative and confidence.
- **Interview preparation packages.** We may offer structured packages combining AI-assisted preparation materials with live human coaching.
- **Outplacement and team support.** We may provide career-transition and outplacement support to organisations. Business clients may be asked to agree a separate proposal, order form or services agreement.
Current services, prices and package descriptions are shown on our website or provided before purchase. We may update, rename, add or remove services from time to time.
3. The role of AI in our services
Summit Talent uses AI tools to support parts of the career review and drafting process. These may include OpenAI, Gemini or other systems selected by Summit Talent.
AI is used as a drafting and analysis aid. It does not replace human judgement. Where a service is described as human-reviewed, AI-generated content is reviewed by a member of the Summit Talent team before delivery.
You remain responsible for checking the accuracy of all facts, dates, qualifications, employment history, achievements and claims before submitting any document to an employer, recruiter, university, professional body or other third party.
We will not knowingly help create false, misleading or dishonest career materials.
4. Payment terms
Payment is required in advance unless we agree otherwise in writing.
We may collect payment using Stripe, Tide payment links, Wise or another secure payment provider. All prices are listed in GBP (£) unless stated otherwise.
Summit Talent Consulting Ltd is not currently VAT registered. Prices are therefore not currently subject to VAT. If we become VAT registered, prices and invoices may be updated accordingly.
International clients are responsible for currency conversion costs, international transaction fees or charges applied by their bank or payment provider.
Coaching packages, interview preparation packages and one-off services must be paid in full upfront unless we agree a different arrangement in writing.
5. Delivery times
We aim to deliver one-off CV rewrite services within the timeframe stated on our website or confirmed after purchase. Where no timeframe is stated, we aim to deliver the first version within 2 to 3 working days after receiving the information we need.
Delivery may be affected if you do not provide requested information, clarification is needed, the request is wider than the purchased service, technical issues occur outside our reasonable control, or we agree a different date with you.
Coaching sessions take place at the agreed date and time.
6. Cancellations, refunds and revisions
6.1 Starting work immediately
Most Summit Talent services are personalised and may begin shortly after purchase. When buying a CV rewrite, cover letter service, career-document review or similar personalised service, you will be asked to confirm that you want us to begin work straight away, before the end of any statutory cancellation period that may apply.
If you give that consent and we fully deliver the personalised service, your right to cancel for a refund may end once delivery is complete. This does not affect statutory rights where a service is not provided with reasonable care and skill.
6.2 Before work has started
You may cancel for a full refund if you contact us before we have started work.
6.3 After work has started
If you cancel after work has started but before completion, we may deduct a reasonable amount for work already carried out.
6.4 After delivery
Once a personalised CV, cover letter, career document or other service output has been delivered, no cash refund is available unless required by law.
If you are not satisfied with the first delivered version, you are entitled to one free revision after providing clear and reasonable feedback. Further revisions may be charged, offered at our discretion or declined if they fall outside the original service scope.
6.5 Coaching sessions
- You may cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice.
- Sessions cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be treated as used.
- No refund is given for a session that has already taken place.
6.6 Requests
Cancellation, refund and revision requests must be emailed to kevin@summittalent.uk. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
7. No guarantee of outcomes
We provide honest and practical career support, but cannot guarantee any specific employment outcome, including a job offer, interview, promotion, pay rise, employer response or application result.
Hiring decisions are made by third parties and depend on factors outside our control. Testimonials, case studies and examples are illustrative only and do not promise similar results.
8. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- provide accurate, truthful and complete information;
- check all documents before using or submitting them;
- ensure career materials do not contain false or misleading claims;
- respond reasonably to requests for clarification;
- attend coaching sessions on time;
- treat Summit Talent coaches and staff respectfully; and
- use our services only for lawful purposes.
We may stop providing services if you behave abusively, dishonestly or inappropriately. Where appropriate, we may provide a pro-rata refund for paid but undelivered services.
9. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of your personal information, CV content, employment history, qualifications, achievements and career story. You may use final documents delivered to you for your personal job search, career development and professional profile.
Summit Talent retains ownership of its templates, frameworks, prompts, AI workflows, coaching methods, training materials, guidance, processes, know-how and business materials.
You must not copy, resell, redistribute, publish, license, adapt or use Summit Talent’s underlying materials, methods or workflows to create a competing product or service.
We may use anonymised and aggregated learning to improve our services, provided it does not identify you personally. Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Data protection and privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Information may include your CV, employment history, education, qualifications, salary information, contact details, career goals, coaching notes and other information relevant to the requested service.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we use it, retention, service providers, your rights and how to contact us.
11. Third-party tools and platforms
We may use third-party payment, scheduling, email, document, cloud-storage and AI providers to deliver our services.
We take reasonable steps to choose reputable providers, but are not responsible for outages, delays or failures outside our reasonable control. Where providers process personal data on our behalf, this is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, liability that cannot be excluded under English law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to the above, Summit Talent Consulting Ltd’s total liability arising from a service is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, special or consequential losses, including loss of income, employment opportunity, anticipated savings, reputation or disappointment arising from an employer’s decision.
We are not responsible for the actions, omissions, decisions or hiring practices of employers, recruiters, hiring managers, professional bodies or other third parties.
13. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including technical outages, internet failures, payment-provider issues, illness, emergencies or platform failures.
We will take reasonable steps to communicate and rearrange delivery where appropriate.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as our services develop. The latest version will be posted on our website with an updated date.
If a material change affects an active paid service or package, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. The Terms in force at the time of purchase will usually apply to that purchase, unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer living outside England and Wales, you may also have mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
